now isnt that giro valve the same as a check valve :? it does work in the same principle by leting air flow in 1 direction

i have seen many people runing mk3 gti cams on g60,thats good if you ona budged but for max performance id go for a 268 or 271 assymentric

hm i have seen Rausher tuning 550hp VR6 twin turbo i believe,VR6 engines can be tuned up to 800hp so there might be some1 that is quicker. Oh there is also another VR rollo santa VR^ turbo that works with methanol,is a drag car which has a pretty impresiive 1/4 mile

well if it works why not,i will completley remove my isv and see how the car runs without it,also im scraping the boost return pipe which should really give me a louder dump valve sound :D

u have no boost ,sounds dumb but you need to rev the car to get the boost.

from the guy i bought it from,its been sprayed with a heat resistant paint i believe.

so has anyone done this mod?any things i should watch out for?

but you dont need a dump valve,all you doing is keping the loost boost escaping from the faulty isv valve (if its faulty),im gonna get rid of hte boost return pipe and just add another air filter into the charger,this way i should get a nice bov sound without having one and just put a filter on the crancase oil vapour pipe and somehow cover the tb banjo valve with a net or somethign similar so i dont get anything in the engine.correct me if im wrong

if you in doubt that you lossing boost via a faulty isv check valve you can simply buy this http://www.diy.com/bq/product/product.j ... cation=top and install it after your isv and nomore boost leak :) ,

ok if you are geting them from the states there will be customs tax,if you can find out how much delivery is,im gonna need a boost gauge.

hehe mate i had the same problem,and i fixed it after much time getting pised as the screen washer would come on soo wired :twisted: . WHat you have to do is take off your steering wheel and open up the mechanism of the signal arm,the wiper arm is hte one you need to have a look at,it has a bit which stands out sticking out,this makes hte contact with the other part and wipers start working,this bit of plastic sticking out gets consumed during use and it comes to a point where its not long enough to space the contact plates which make the wipers work,what i did was to heat up this plastic bit with a hot knife and i melted a bit of plastic and tryed to stick it up to make it slightly longer,and it worked. Is really hard to understand it but when you open it up you know what i mean,or you could go and get a new wiper arm(plastic wiper arm on your steering wheel)and replace it,i believe any passat would have the same arm. Be carefull with the ot knife hope helps.

is cool man, is better when you do it bit by bit because if you do it all at once youll be spoiled for choice,sometimes when i see my recipt bag it feels very heavy :( but when i drive her and hear peoples coments and looks you think its really worth it :D

thats sweet man and those alloys suit it really well,all you need is to lower it and tint the rear lights or get hte inpros,to make it more smother you can take off hte side mouldings but i like it :D :D

id love to see the next corrado in about 10 yrs time with a bigger 5 or 6 cylinder turbo or sc option, rear or 4wd with some original mad looks somwhere in the region of £40k
