Well done in taking on the roofing job, that is one I never fancied doing. I did a repair previously and the glue bled through so I feel your pain. Not a 2 minute removal in getting the roof lining out 😱, keep us all posted

Oh I have those super expensive gaskets.... I have refurbed the whole unit, so just needs to be fitted. Unfortunately I like to 'have a go' and want to learn about the car as I go. Fitting it isnt a worry, but If she doesn't run right after fitting, I certainly will take it to Vince. I did the power run previously, so that I could do it again after the Schrick was fitted Just need to sort the front mount and bonnet cut first 🙄😁

So, now that the bottom of the engine seems fine, should I put the Schrick manifold on, or is there a test I can do in the cylinder head just to make sure that is healthy at 122k. One day the chains will get done, I just want to get some use out of her first for all that she has cost me. Thoughts please 🙈

🤣🤣 if i could have, I probably would have.. 🤣 Honestly I thought they were acceptable!!! But these test figures make ma feel better. I wont do it again incase I get bad results and then stress 😱 I wanted to ask what exhaust you have , was it you that purchased one recently?

The cherry bomb. Last seen on the back of hatchbacks in the late 80s early 90s. Bloody noisy things. My mate had an XR2 and thought this made it as fast as a Ferrari 🤣🤣

COMPRESSION UPDATE So I did the compression test again today, with the throttle fully open 1-175, 2- 177, 3 -175, 4-180, 5-173, 6-173 Zero miles since the last test. Latest figures in blue. Now I'm happy

Welcome to the best forum ever. Damn I am biased too. In 5 years, the help and enthusiasm on this forum has helped me rebuild my Corrado and get her on the road. Small cost but usually money saved on the 1st repair with the help here. Good luck with the door handle
