  1. I do have that switch and trim in a box somewhere. Is it a left hooker or RHD?
  2. Mate that is an impressive winter position 😁
  3. More surprisingly I have had a look the pile of my receipts tonight.... shocking 😩 I need a drink now. The best part was looking at the cars history and realising i have all of the original MOT certificates. Sad I know
  4. πŸ‘ it is a nice oe look
  5. Finally decided on the spark plug leads and fitted the NGK VW201 ones. Cheap enough, perfect fit and a better start up. Very happy
  6. Update time:- So the beru were blowing my mind and I didn't want to get it wrong, so discounted these in the end The Mr retro ones I had were too tight in my spark plug tool and one seemed too short. Credit to him I got a full refund I took a chance and have purchased the ngk vw 201 set. Β£52 delivered from autodoc. First impressions, slightly smaller than the ones I had but definitely a neater better fit, with a quicker start up. Chunkier solid metal ends that fit the spark plug tool perfectly with the coil pack end having a positive locking click on fitting.100% Happy with them and would definitely recommend them for a coil pack Corrado
  7. Is the car left for long periods without use?
  8. How many watts of power is each unit? If you are having a maximum of 13A heater and a 13A pellet grille that plug in, γ€Š26A》you are already on your way to a needing a 32a radial circuit. I doubt they use as much as 13amps between them though as you are using them on an extension that is only protected by the 13A plug top fuse You will be better asking the electrician what cable he wants , then you do the donkey work. 2 x 6mm 3core swa are more than adequate and certainly future proof . A smaller cable would be sufficient.
  9. Amazing dedication mate, keep us all posted
  10. Mate, 2 x 10mm swa cables is massive overkill, Dont do it. 4mm swa cable would suffice the hot tub. You do need to know your heater power ratings b4 going any further. Do they just plug in or need to be hard wired via an isolating switch l
  11. Pellet grill and outdoor heaters... you definitely need to know the power rating of all of these. Sounds like they will draw more current than your hot tub. Sean's method is the best way by far but does involve more time and cost. If you had a building at the top end of your garden, that would the best way to go. But 2 circuits from your existing consumer unit will do the jobπŸ‘ The beauty of electrics is there are always many ways to get things working.
  12. The first question is what load is this supply using. How many kW of power is the hot tub and what load are you wanting to plug into the sockets. Then what length from the consumer unit to these items. Then is the cable buried or in free air etc... All of this will decide on the cable size. You could get away with taking one swa cable out there as a radial circuit. Going to the hot tub isolator, then to the sockets... All weatherproof I assume unless you have a building up there. Do you have a spare any in your consumer unit that is RCD protected, or you could fit an RCBO instead of an MCB to give you the best protection. (Sorry for using electricians terminology) πŸ˜‡ Ha, wish you hadn't asked
  13. Good luck with finding the Toad Ai606. This is the alarm I was looking for. Still advertised by companies but no one had them. Now discontinued according to 2 alarm suppliers, shame really as that is an awesome alarm. I have been looking at a sigma alarm , still undecided...
  14. Oo just for home and seen this. I hate to be last to a party.. All paid mate, thank youπŸ‘
  15. Sorry no, but hopefully someone will post up soon πŸ‘
  16. I will recheck, but I do normally swing on these things.
  17. Definitely a YES to the connectors, if you don't mind sorting it πŸ˜‡
  18. I bow to to knowledge, so thanks gents. I am getting a knocking as I on and off with the accelerator. Any particular OEM brand? I will get the VT mount ordered 1st and see where to go from there
  19. I definitely have tooo much movement in my engine, so I am thinking of changing these. Front mount I intend on getting a vibratechnics road as I intend on fitting the Schrick one day Gearbox I am looking a going for the mk2 golf diesel version. I have looked at lots of threads but cant find the part no., Does anyone know this. Not being idle, but when looking for this they also cross reference against a mk2 gti, so I dont know if what I am looking at is correct. Any help appreciated.. Rear engine mount !! Unsure what to fit. Let me know your less movememt/ vibration set ups please
  20. πŸ‘πŸ’ΈπŸ’Έ payment sent, thanks for sorting this
  21. Just throwing this in the mix. Slightly smaller than ZEF1260 and for coilpack models. And I have NGK plugs too, just a thought!!! Hmmm decisions..
  22. Finally got round to fitting a replacement roof lining today. I ruined mine by sticking a small patch near the sunroof and it blew through. I was not happy 🀬 Sourced a replacement for 40 pounds and after a good vacuum and clean, time to swap. Looks better now and lesson learnt !!
  23. What is the fit of these like? Reason I ask is the lengths these are the same as what is on the car, but on contacting suppliers they say I should have ZEF298 which are all 1cm shorter. I'm cautious as the Mr Retro ones I sent back were too tight for my liking. I am coilpack And I need to get this little project to bed...
  24. I only ever take my cars to a specialist alignment centre. That is all they do and what they are best at. These tyre and exhaust places are ok, but not a patch on the Nottm. Alignment centre. Just my opinion of course, but that's what I have found.
