I have that switch in a box somewhere. If you had LHD corrado heater controls, then it clips in perfectly underneath into it. I thought it would work on our RHD ones , but unless it was glued in it's a No No. They fit just above the cigarette lighter point and needs the correct trim to go with it. I did create a harness to go from this and into the diavia, so maybe one day I will achieve this. Dox, I have fitted the MK3 golf switches into mine as I found them sturdier than the Diavia. It was a head scratcher tho !!
  3. Thanks gents, keep it coming. When I get 5 mins I shall try and contact Stealth. I suppose I could.just email him now... I am scouring the classifieds And have considered the shift light idea. I dont think I know enough about them really. Could they switch at 4k and close something at 3950.. I need more time in my life 😩
  4. Looks a great standard purchase, well done mate.πŸ‘Œ

Anyone's on here? I only ask as I am looking back through years of old mags that I have, reading the corrado stuff. I really must get rid of them. Shame though but most are golf orientated The Golf, from issue 1... Club gti rabbit Performance VW VWM VwAudi car Volkswagen driver I'm sure we all have junk that needs clearing out 😩
  7. I like reading about your latest edition to the family too. I still have plenty that I want to do with mine, including the fitting of a Schrick inlet manifold.... so that will keep me busy. On top of finishing undersealing and... But I intend to enjoy her for now
  8. Wet day so thought I would fit the front VW passat mudflaps. Another job off the long snagging list. As per the Corrado Club GB. If they stop all the tar and filth being flicked up onto the lower wings and doors then I will be happy. And if they are a pain, then they are easily removed. More Marmite I think
  9. And have you fetched her yet?
  10. Fitted some front mudflaps as per CCGB Chris Gaskell of the May 99 Sprinter. Easy really. Well done to everyone that got to do a bit this weekend πŸ‘
  11. Does anyone know of where one could be purchased from. Either original or an alternative replacement. If you have a different one on your car, could you please post up some info about it please Thanks for your time
  12. It's an easy swap. Is yours still working? (Constant humming sound when ignition on) Mine was completely broken and if I remember correctly, had blown the fuse which was on the FCM. As said an easy fix and the new pump then worked correctly. Cheap peace of mind. A Bosch unit off ebay was only around fifty something pounds Good luck, even if it is a golf....πŸ™‚
  13. I certainly would NOT entertain deleting the auxilliary water pump. Such a Hot engine needs that circulation to stop things from warping..
  14. As above, but one is on ebay in Sheffield 254653755202 item number
  15. I love the brabus, as I could get plenty in the boot. The Lorinsor isn't my cup of tea, but is cool. If I could sell lots of drugs and pimp out some prostitutes it would be the car for me to drive around and show off in 😊
  16. Typically she has been tucked up in the garage today as I had to get my Passat back. But it is nice to have it, as I think I liked the challenge to get it workingπŸ˜‡
  17. 7 month break, it will be great to have it back. Enjoy
  18. Christ someone is desperate. I would have said Β£200. Seriously though, how many people have barns with cars in, as they all seem to be a barn find πŸ˜‚πŸ€£ Vr6 on a G plate !! I'm all for people saving a car, but that one needs a miracle
  19. I had those.... but Sean said he had standard. What does Vince recommend? Sorry for jumping in Sean πŸ‘
  20. What a Corrado rollercoaster of two days. Only a Corrado can cause so much grief. Waited all morning for the 'first thing' garage work, which meant we will start it when you turn up at half 12 being slightly pissed off with being messed around. 2 hrs later it still isn't sorted so we agree I take the car and only pay for the MOT. What a day waster. But with the car now taxed I get to take her out, fill her with fuel and have a drive. The good point of all of this was seeing that the rear spoiler does raise and lower whilst driving, something I could never try until now. And she is a joy to drive, Very well planted with the VW heavy steering. Sounds beautiful on the standard exhaust too, even though there isn't much life left in it. For now, everything seems to work fine and the aircon has been an expensive bonus but worth its weight in gold today. I was considering yesterday, what do I do now that it is done? Get rid or get another? Is the reality of this in the garage too much of a spoilt luxury...... Then I think of all the little jobs that need doing, so I can justify to myself still tinkering with it I need to get out and drive it Thank you to everyone past and present on this forum that has helped me get to this point
  21. Not me... Sean, did yours get done ok? The guy said I need a set of camber bolts for mine. Imagine his surprise when I said it has them as the last place couldn't sort it without them. Now he says it needs different ones...c'mon What bolts do you have mate ?
  22. Looking good. Crazy coincidence as my green is on the ramps having its alignment sorted too. Enjoy driving it afterwards πŸ‘
  23. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚The stress Ditto πŸ™ˆ I had a lump in my throat when I was reading yours b4 I hope so. It did feel good to drive πŸ˜‡
