Every cloud has a silver lining. Just collected the aircon pressure switch which I have been waiting for. Just need to find the time to fit it and get the bumper on now

Finally got the two clips needed to keep this switch in position. Even better that a forum member is sorting out getting them remade. Which is still cheaper than me having to buy 2 switches to make 1 good one !! Today I mat even get the windscreen fitted on the girl. Watch this space..

Can you post up a picture of it please. So we can see the pin terminal layout. Webasto (Diavia) still list lots of different relays. If they dont fit then maybe rs components

On the wiki section is all the checks for the cooling system, explaining which sensor brings in which fan speed etc. But I think the wiki is missing at the moment .... Is the metal fuse link ok at the fan controller in the engine bay?

The hole definitely does not line up with any trim clips, so it will get blanked off with something. Strange that Etka dont list anything as I noticed. Thanks for everyone's help and suggestions

Shaun has this set up on his i think. Hopefully he will jump in. He did tell me the same regarding the Sharan opposite plug. Good luck mate

That doesn't sound to be working correctly.. Best ask Vince if this is what the loom he got you does, but I doubt it . Good luck

Maybe I should just put a grommet in... nothing else listed in etka. Mine did have a blob of black sealant covering it, which i assumed a previous windscreen fitter had done to hold the trim

Yes mate, mine were actually black . I stamped some out the material you recommended b4 And yes, my grommets have been put in prior to the clips

I have 10 in position and they line up correctly with the trim that will fit onto them. . This seems spare.. maybe I should triple check it!!

Boot lid left and right trim strips - 535867587, 535867588 - £25 are they black? If so I will take them please. Mp phone picture quality is poor....

Can you find and post up the electrical diagram for the headlight switch. It may help to work out what else is on this circuit

How good are your auto electrical skills?? You will like this one. You need to remove each fuse and put a multimeter onto each side the pins. With the setting on mAh milliamps (thousandths of an amp) and record the measurement for each fuse. This is of course with nothing turned on/ being used We are looking for a higher reading being the culprit For now, also check the boot light, as that is another one that you would not know if it was on I will try and post up a pic latet
