  1. This problem is above me, but could it be an immobiliser fault! Just a thought. Mine has caught me out b4. Is it just a standard immobiliser or is another fitted. Try and avoid jump starting, give the battery a good charge/ replace it with a known good one. They are delicate with this Good luck
  2. Sorry to be late on the pads. All cut out and put in envelopes last night. Sending out today as i only need to pass a post box. First class but that doesnt mean next day anymore..... let me know if you dont get them
  3. Mate, if you can get them at that price, I'll come fetch one. I'm sure I was quoted over 200. I will check later 🤪
  4. Oo I like that insurance quote, so will put them on my list to ring. That is a shocking wait for the car..... and i hope it does come back soon. Photos would help you get through the wait, so that is bad of them. Time to turn up at the garage 👊 . If you dont get the answers you want, then take the car back. Plenty of other people wanting your hard earned cash . Hopefully it will not come to that. Good luck with the valvers MOT
  5. There are two types of upper spring plate. Do some searching on here to see which people have used. I'm sure someone will shout up. Get the kit and see what is missing. Definitely a popular and highly rated set up
  6. Well I always wanted a nugget yellow G60. Overall it looks good for its age and has the early Recaro interior, so bonus. Service history, even better. I totally agree that its location does not help prospective buyers from overseas but I'm sure that could be negotiated within its price. As with others that have gone for the buying a problem, to restore, it needs to be at a sensible price. My VR was £1500 and I look back thinking I was an idiot paying that for a car with no MOT. It has since had thousands spent on it and still not ready for the road. Fortunately lots early cars are stil being broken so replacing a wing etc is easy. Its a rare colour and has lots of positives but I think if it sold for a 1.5k-2k you would have been lucky. Just my opinion. Try it at a higher price, if no takers then lower the price over time Could you send it for a pre MOT to get a better understanding of what is needed to get this car up and running. I believe that would help a prospective buyer from elsewhere. Goodluck with your decision, but dont let it get broken. I hate to see another Corrado go to the graveyard
  7. No lockdown excuses, go get her 👌
  8. Good decision on keeping her. I think we all learn with the ownership of a Corrado. Now we have the forum with easy to post pictures, just post up your concerns and we can see/advise better. Take the problems one at a time, walk away when it isnt happening. Best buy ever is a Bentley Manual to help you when taking things apart/ putting them back together. Good luck with her
  9. 🤣🤣will do mate. Just waiting on some screws coming from lilfuzzer. I cant find my others yet.
  10. Had someone put the rear windows in today. Happy with the results, but disappointed at having my pants down with the price.....Corrado tax It helps in making it look more like a car and if I find some spare time I can move towards getting the roof liner back in.. And I have a drivers regulator problem. I think the previous owner badly swapped it out. I put 3 rivets in the main body but now realise nothing is fixing the motor in position.... that problem can wait for now though
  11. Ha ha, multi purpose tool
  12. It is a leather punch 👍 I'm just sorting envelopes out for every ones discs... I will post up when I've sent them.
  13. The car looks awesome. You must be proud
  14. That's the guy that did mine, sticker, number plates and tax disc 😊 Very happy with what he did
  15. Thanks. I will have a look to see if I can work it out
  16. 🤣🤣PM me people with your address if you haven't done so already. I'll sort this weekend. Ish
  17. If anyone can identify where this wiring door clip fits, it will be appreciated. I've got one for each door left in a box....and cant work it out
  18. I got it from ebay. Something Keyo posted about. PM me your address and I'll send a couple out mate, no worries
  19. So any spare time I am putting her back together. I'm not even bothered that the bloody rear wiper motor does not work now that it is fitted !! Clicks and has voltage.. the back end is looking good and Monday the rear and side glass are booked in to be done. I even spent a tenner on getting a punch to cut out a perfect circle for the tailgate bumper stop adhesive circles. If anyone wants some I can punch them out and send you a couple, see the pictures below. And I took on the dreaded job of refitting the wiring loom into the doors, cleaning the paint from the glass and fitting the outer handle. All painstakingly slow but perfect. If anyone has a pic of how the wiring on the inside the door should be it would welcome. I have got the bit to the door handle and central locking, but not how the mirror control should be and where it comes out.. then I need to sort a membrane, suggestions please. I've seen the foam version or so I go PVC!! Hmm

    Stainless hack!

🤣 is that what they are called... I wondered what that thing was.
  23. Unfortunately mate, as it is not a factory install in the UK, there are no factory holes to be blanked. They just drilled some holes through the bulkhead and fitted grommets to protect the pipework. Could you use some plate and rivet it to blank off?
  24. Thankyou. I was impressed with what they did
