  1. Yes mate, there is a spare wire, with the correct plug on for connecting the illumination for such an item. Good luck in searching for it mate
  2. So, after taking the front end off, I realised the powdercoated rad support panel was now showing signs off rust !! So off it went for another blasting and a better coat of paint, some polyurethane sort of coating allegedly. Looking good I have put it back on and fitted the new aircon condensor plus a new hose. As I ruined the threads on the replacement this has been a nightmare to sort. Hopefully I can book a mobile aircon visit and there will be no leaks. Then to refit the slam panel. Oh I also fitted a new sump, gasket and stainless fixings. That looks nice As I bought the early vr6 gasket and fixings when I needed the late, I'll put it up for sale on here soon. And yes, I now realise it would have fitted a late vr6 too. Everyday is a school day
  3. Mine was hanging loose at the back. I pushed it through the rubber that is in the top of the cubby hole and it reached perfectly. Ironically I was looking through receipts tonight and came across the bulb holder for this
  4. ha ha, not a clue what that means... but it would be nice to have tapatalk back. Good luck in sorting it

    Sparks and leads

I am yet to change mine but would certainly go for either of the first two. The 3rd link doesn't open anything for me
  6. I changed mine last month. Definitely 16mm with the NGK. Do a search for a vr6 spark plug removal tool. It's a deep socket with a pivoting bar and makes the job really easy. Plus you have a shiny new tool for your toolbox I hope that helps Goodluck
  7. Your mileage is impressive and the seats look great. Made me laugh that they are your spare set
  8. FINALLY, managed to refit the cam cover and inlet manifold with all the ancillaries. To my amazement it even started ... I was very worried as I had changed all the coolant system pipes and sensors and in the back of my mind considered something being faulty. Only a slight fuel leak where I hadn't tightened the fuel pressure release screw, but all is good. She has got warm with the fans kicking in and isn't going above 92° definitely being slightly less than before. Maybe the new rad makes a big difference. Only the aircon stuff to sort before the front end goes back on again.. Maybe this is the year she gets on the road. I'll take a good day with it as we all know that doesn't happen often. I just need to work out why I still have 1 bolt left for the ignition lead covers. Damn Good luck everyone
  9. Got my inlet manifold, cam cover and radiator shroud back from the powder coater today. Had an hour me time fitting the new plastic rings and fans back together then fitting it to the car. Looking forward to finding time to get other parts back on so I can see if it all works and check for leaks... fingers crossed Tjninny you are a better man than me in getting the o rings fitted, well done mate
  10. Had a pig of a job trying to fit my injectors and believed to be the o rings !! So I ordered some specific vr6 ones and the fit was far easier. I think the refurb ones were slightly larger when comparing them. Tjninny, Tim let me know how you go on with fitting yours mate. On the plus side it was nice to fit something back on the car. Today was a good day, the last two weeks I have had to calmly shut the garage door and walk away...

    Shrick VGI advice

Mate, I'm just too jealous of that to be able to help, but someone will post up the answer
  12. Sorry if sounds like we are moaning..if they are a pain is there something else out there. Shame as I found posting pics really easy, oh well. Thanks for letting us know
  13. I just found a link to his product on your car and it does look great. I just can't paste the link... My disclaimer is that I am unsure if early and late Corrado foam is different, as mine is late. But i believe he does 2 versions. Good luck in whatever you decide
  14. Keto the Ebay link pictures do look a different finish to the Sprinter version. His have larger dimple holes in them like the ones I took off of my car. I may be wrong as the picture did not zoom great on my tablet. I wish we could still use tapatalk on the forum as I could have easily posted up pictures
  15. Do a search on here. He had a thread for selling them that lots of people have contacted him on. Or PM him. I'll have a look too
  16. The Sprinter version are a brilliant re- make of the original panels. Self adhesive backed, cut to size/shape and identical with the bobble parts. Definitely worth the money and all the comments have always been very positive. I'd get the same again if I needed to.
  17. Got my injectors today. Cleaned up good with new seals caps and baskets. All now pushing out 55cc of fuel compared with the 51-54 b4 the refurbishment, so spot on. A big thumbs up to the service from Autotronix
  18. When I bought my bulbs from TPS they ordered me two different types of bulbs. Might be worth a phone call to confirm the parts.... quicker than me looking through 100s of receipts
  19. Got a phone call to say my injectors are ready. I can't collect until Thursday so I'll post up more then. Tim, where about are you? Cressa
  20. Spent 100 pounds on a new aircon condensor. Managed to ruin the thread when fitting an old hose onto it..... to make matters worse, on disconnecting the hose it snapped a piece off the receiver drier... Expensive day as I need to sort the hose as well. 3 items all sha##ed. AGHHHHH Good job its the Corrado and these things are the norm for us !!!
  21. Bought a new aircon condenser... check out the what I broke thread :mad2:
  22. I dropped them off this morning. I will say they were incredibly polite and helpful. If the service is as good as this I will be very pleased, tho I will post up when I get them
  23. Martin, you certainly outdid my little bit of work. Well done mate. What are your plans with it?
  24. Looking at previous threads, mr injector seems to get good reviews and also autotronix developments which is near me. I'm hopefully going to call and see them this week so I'll post up what happens
