Easypops, have you sorted taking them apart yet mate? It really is easy and watching you tube helps you understand what needs doing. I got my seals and pis tons from big red for my 288s. Source the bleed nipples locally. Not too difficult a job, especially for you and all of your car parts Cressa

That's definitely who I got mine powedercoated. I'd always painted them myself b4 but was never happy in the long term. I've got a local powder coater who looks after me
-
Post some pics when you get it back. I need some enthusiasm for working on mine
-
I had mine blasted and powedercoated. Wroth the carriers. Only cost £30 but do look great. Not been done long enough to see if they will rust though. I suppose it sounds a lot of money, but not much for a Corrado!!! Cressa

VW Heritage mate. Classic parts have redone them. Not the cheapest but got to be the best
-
This was always the build to watch, glad to hear you are going to get back into it. If you have some spare enthusiasm could do with it for mine.

Daz, how much are you thinking of paying for a mirror motor? Cressa

Still not working !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The maths look great to me. Have you thought about the little plastic inserts that they fit into?
-
That seems a lot of clips. .. I doubt all the Corrado's left surviving would amount to that many. But, I would certainly have a set off you. I hope you would be able to do this and cover the total cost. Personally a tenth of that would suffice, but what do I know. Just be good if you could do it, Good luck. Cressa

That engine looks fabulous. Congratulations on finding and purchasing it. Good luck with the fitting.

Deffo a Welsh thing:dance: Only kidding. .. I constantly used tapatalk so don't find it easy to use my phone on this forum. Sorry I can't help as mine is a VR that is in pieces, but I couldn't resist a reply to you bring Welsh. Cressa

Top man, thank you for looking into it. I'll check mine now

I think it would be nice to have a response from someone who deals with this in admin. to explain what is happening with it. !! Slightly frustrating. . Cressa

I'm still unable to access it. .. Damned thing

Finally fitted a new set of seals to the original clutch slave cylinder. Refitted this and the ATE master cylinder I got from here. The car finally drove out off the garage. It gave me some enthusiasm

I wish I knew how to contact him. No tapatalk is an absolute pain. I did contact tapatalk who replied saying the forum does not have the correct tapatalk plug in !!!! What the hell that means. ... and they were to inform him of this. Oh well, I'll try to stay patient

Toad Ai606 everyday. I had one fitted on my mk3 golf and it was brilliant. Others have asked on here the same question and most people go with the Toad. That's the one I will have fitted to my Corrado when this one annoys me Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

Sounds a swine of a job to find and sort out. When did you last change your ignition switch? We overlook it so easily but it sorted my starting problem out. That switch has a lot you answer for [emoji34] One day I will tackle removing my old cobra alarm and immobiliser that only has one fob.. but there are a lot of wires Good luck mate Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

I don't have Facebook and don't need it. Forum all the way [emoji106] Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

Damn your gearbox looks fantastic. Well done with all your efforts Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

I bought it today. Unfortunately I wasn't too impressed... £5.99 for the magazine as they know enthusiasts will buy it because of the Corrado supplement. I expected better really, or perhaps I'm being picky. I liked the part of the owners cars but thought the info elsewhere could have been more detailed. Couldn't be bothered to look at the past pvw bits they put in. But, at least it's Corrado time Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
