  1. Ron, if no one else has already contacted you, I'll take it please. Cressa Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  2. Perhaps at 500 pounds someone could do something with them. But at that price for worn, cigarette burns and patches, they will always stay for sale Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  3. I found that dirty connections on the relays stopped mine from working. I linked out connections and the compressor then worked. Turned out the gas was low so the pressure switch wouldn't allow it to work. Regassed and then worked. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  4. [emoji23][emoji2] Brilliant Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  5. I changed my ignition switch straight away when I had an electrical gremlin. As geeba says, genuine vw. Solved my problem and yes it is a Corrado issue. An interesting challenge but a cheap part. Worth a try. Good luck Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  6. Damn they look good. Are you keeping the red bleed nipple covers because they are red [emoji23] Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

Your plug Is exactly the same as mine. I can't get to a part number at the moment tho Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  8. If the spare works, just spends an afternoon stripping it and then lubricating as previously suggested. That time and effort will ensure it won't let you down. Cressa Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  9. The car looks great mate. And I don't think the list ever ends. I just close the garage door on mine and walk away. What did you need the Bentley manual for? I'm not selling but do have one Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  10. Definitely take it out, take it apart to clean the guide channels and lubricate it. Not worth the risk of using it as it will break without this maintenance. As said, a pain but worth the effort. Then you can enjoy it. Cressa Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  11. They are a great wheel. I put a set on a mk1 GTI I had. Downside was definitely keeping them clean. I swopped my brake pads to the EBC greenstuff ones. That definitely made cleaning easier. It will be nice to see a picture when they are on Cressa Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  12. If the fuse blows instantly then you have a direct short. ... positive going straight to body earth. Not good. Try unplugging all the connections you can then replace the fuse. If it still blows, the fault is near the fuse box. If not plug the connections back in 1 at a time until it blows... getting close. Unplug all again and replace fuse . Now plug things back in but in a different order. Hopefully it will blow the fuse in the same area. You then need a multimeter to test the wiring. I hope the above method helps you narrow down where to look. A wiring diagram of the circuit will help to understand what colour wires are going where. Good luck. But keep posting Cressa Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  13. Looks good. Great sharing of information [emoji106] Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  14. Well I admit to being an idiot. I got my venue dates wrong and went to Harewood House....doh. no signal there and i couldn't work out where all the Corrado's were !! Oh well, still a lovely day. So that's my Confession, I hope Stanford was a great weekend for everyone Cressa Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

  16. Early or late? I didn't realise there was a difference until I bought one for my later vr and found it not to match! Genuine vw too Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

  19. Anyone have an idea where this came from? I found it on to of my gearbox when taking the clutch slave cylinder out! All ideas gratefully received. Vr6 Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  20. Standard on the golf vr6 HIGHLINE model. I suppose that is our Storm equivalent, but there were lots more of them Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  21. You will be able to pick up some replacements. There are differences between early and late model handles, more noticeably the later model has a raised lip at the key area. Re- tumbling the locks so that they are all the same is fiddly but rewarding and again, ask up on here as someone will have spares. I'll have a look for the photos I have of mine when cleaned up in pieces and when put back together. The photo below shows the different markings for left and right door tumblers Good luck.
