  1. Damn that engine looks good. Enjoy driving her for the next year Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  2. Congratulations on sorting it Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  3. What's the part number on your fan controller. Only asking as someone may have a spare you could try. My car isn't moving so you could try that (posting) but I'm sure someone will be more local to you Cressa Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  4. She'll pass I'm sure. Mine failed last year on not having the drivers door mirror on. Not bad considering the whole door wasn't on either !! [emoji23] Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  5. Good luck mate. I've only just read your thread and it seems you are doing the right problem solving. Let us know how you sort it, as you will eventually Cressa Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  6. Thread resurrection. We don't seem to be doing much lately. Are we losing out to Facebook !! Anyway I've drove my stripped car out off the garage until it ran warm, then put it back again until next week.... It's in bits waiting to be painted, whilst my paintshop keep fobbing me off for months. Oh well. Let's all do something with our Corrado's Cressa Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  7. Fantastic. Long time ago though. I thought I kept my old magazines a long time! ! Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  8. Vr6 coolant hose. ..somewhere Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  9. Relisted !! Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  10. I've got a VR but that too is always a fight to fix. The Corrado is definitely a pleasure pain car. I don't think it matters what engine you have, just the smile knowing you have a Corrado is enough. That makes us a community 🖒 Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  11. Damn that is a miracle low mileage nice car. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  12. Top tip when Adjusting your bonnet catches:- Remove your front grille. That way if the adjustment doesn't work you can still open the bonnet manually. A little time and patience with possibly cleaning and lubricating the parts to ensure all springs back OK. Then it is just down to adjusting the trumpet. Think it is 8mm spanner (definitely small). Easypops on here has some replacement cables and that definitely helped mine. As for the sunroof. .... give yourself a weekend and take it all out. Strip it, clean it, check to ensure the LH slider isn't broken where it joins onto the cable and lubricate all with some ebay moly grease ( 1/3rd price of vw and works). Mk3 golf motors fit the later corrado and are a straight plug in better swap. The only reason I suggest such a big job, is that if it is struggling now, it will possibly break soon and all parts are obsolete. So well worth doing, as a lot of corrados have this broken Good luck mate. You will get to know all the usual issues Cressa Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  13. It will take you more than a day mate[emoji23] Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  14. Got to agree with that. Easy check if the left hand speaker isn't working Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  15. I'd say the light brown ones definitely ate for a light. As for the other. ....hmm I hope someone else can help Good luck Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  16. Positive should be fused. Negative to bodywork Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  17. Found the first info on a search on here. The second is a picture of the original connectors needed to help plug and lock into position. I got the covers off of lillfuzzer as these are normal fuse box connections. Plug and go Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  18. Culshaw, the connections aren't that difficult when you get your head round the marking of connections. I'll see what info I have of when I connected mine to help you. It does just plug in. Cressa Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  19. Ditto that. I did mine recently and that is definitely missing the wiring to the switch and fuse box. Should be possible to make up as it only needs the switch plug, which may be the hardest part to get hold of Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  20. Yes mate, I believe so. Goodluck in sorting it Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  21. I'll second dox's info. I too found I needed the earlier spring caps when I fitted uprated springs to my later VR. On the plus side, someone will always purchase the later caps from you Cressa Picture I found of both sorts I had Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  22. I'm going to enjoy following this. Good luck Cressa Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  23. I'm sure I bought one of the plates, never fitted it tho !! Didn't seem necessary on mine Cressa Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  24. Ooo sounds great. I would happily try fitment on mine. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  25. I'll second everything Goldfinger has said. Always great service, patience and help. Without you we wouldn't have some of the parts we do have today. . Thank you for being there for us all. If I wanted cheap I'd buy a Ford and mod it. Cressa Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
