  1. tomi, just a thought regarding your prices mate, I recently paid around a tenner each for new speedline caps from Classic. I also bought a repro first aid kit that anna from Heritage has sorted. That was about 30 pounds I think, for brand new, usable and looks shiny... Glws tho mate Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  2. Vag-hag, where did you find the other end of that wire? Cressa Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

    door panel gaps.

I don't see anything wrong with the roof photos. Why not try and adjust the door to get a more equal front and back gap. I've just taken my last for off so I'll dig out some pictures for you to compare against Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  7. Sorry, if it is blowing out of them all, then a refelt does help. Certainly sorted mine Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  8. No mate, that's usually caused by different issues. .. Bottom cog on your heater box broken or the control part has jumped off the cog inside. Time to look deeper into the issue. Good luck but it is all repairable Cressa Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  9. No parts are available. .so maintenance is the best way forward for longevity of this. I would recommend taking the cassette out and sliding the cables out. Totally Clean them and the channels they go in. Then using the sunroof grease lube the cables and channels and manually move them around a lot to ensure the grease gets everywhere. The difference of smoothness is amazing. . Point to note.... make sure you get both cables locked into the same position that you left them in with the motor position. That way you don't have to mess about faffing in resetting it all. I think geeba found replacing some small plastic circular part that really helps in allowing a drop down piece to release easily, thus preventing the snapping of the cable. Mine runs great and I will fit the part he sent me very soon. And on refitting the metal panel. ...1mm down at the front 1mm up at the back Good luck Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  10. Sunroof motor Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  11. Without Chris our cars would be missing lots of parts. See the attached photo of the sunroof motor I took from a mk3 Golf that works my Corrado sunroof perfectly. The part number is on it Cressa Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  12. And the fronts DON'T have the metal sliders that are fitted to the rears. Good luck with that awkward screw Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  13. Diarmaid16, don't suppose you have a passenger one mate Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  14. That is a great colour. Did you get the wing mirror plugs off? I used some wd40 and a screwdriver to lift the plastic Circular tab. Good luck with the work Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

  16. I've got the H&R springs on standard shocks mate. Car certainly looks a lot better because of this. But they needed the earlier spring caps Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

  19. Great list graphite. I'll take a pair of the rear seat belt trims that fit at the back of the parcel shelf trims please. Also how much for the cassette holder[emoji106] Cressa Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  20. Just to make things confusing, I have a 95VR and bought some lowering springs for it, which needed the early bloomin spring caps. Aghhh nothing is Ever straight forward with these cars. So I'd advise getting the springs just to make sure b4 buying the caps Cressa Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  21. The mk3 golf motor was a perfect swap/ fit in my 95 vr sunroof. Plugged straight in and worked, lots better Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  22. Great. The more people missing the more chance we have with Anna making us some more. Anyone else? Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  23. Gaskets were fine fortunately. I like the idea of the g4 stuff as it sounds easy, but one of my door handles has chipped so needs covering better. I may try the spray method on something first. I'll look at that gummi stuff as I need something, cheers Cressa Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  24. Have you looked at the red vr6 advertised on Gumtree today. Cheap as chips Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
