The loom is plug and play for you to retrofit. Best to get one from someone who has taken theirs out. Make sure it comes with the two relays that go behind the rear for card. I fitted a mk3 moonroof for a while. Downsides. .. You have to move the cover back manually. ...oh the effort. And the glass profile isn't spot on. So I butchered brackets and fixings to make my trim slide with my steel roof. But that broke. ... So I went back to the original with the super complicated mechanism.
