I was going to order a new zorst next week, Magnex in fact, but since they have gone bust I wont be getting one! Would someone mind posting a pic of their VR with the Jetex oval fitted? I'd like to see how it fits and how far it sticks out from the bumper. Thanks.

Ok, I've booked my car in to have the shocks and other suspension pieces fitted on the 30th October. In the mean time I have ordered the Lupo Aero wiper conversion and I've nearly finished claying/scratch 'X' ing and polishing the car - its come up an absolute peach!!

you will love those weitec TX's, i have them on my corrado and i rate them better than my old Koni coilovers, and even more comfy than my old H&R's Yeah I heard that they were highly rated amongst dubbers, gotta be alot better than the Jamex (urgh!) that I have on there at the moment. I am going to trawl the suspension thread, but do you know roughly how much thread I need left at the bottom of the shocks to give me a 40mm drop? - as a good starting point. They dont seem to be set at any particular setting from standard as they are not all in the same place (give or take 5mm).

As for electrical problems, I know how you feel - my heater matrix blew up last year during its MOT - it seemed to play havoc with the electrics, the car wouldn't lock itself, then wouldn't unlock, wouldn't start (ignition and fuel pump relay faulty) and the other relays were buzzing all over the show. Thankfully now it seems that the problems are finally sorted. Phew!

Fitted the new stereo today, haven't had a chance to really set it up yet, athough the ipod connection works well - doubt I'll ever user the cd-player!!. Another weird thing is my XBL gamertag is 'Jamin VR6' :shock: I guess its all down to personal choice, but if brakes are a priority, 17's are a must like you say...

if you get this done find somewhere that is willing to weld in metal strips and skim them, don't get them filled! I eventually found a classic car restorer that did it for me. Get the rear hatch hinge-covers colour coded they look great 8) Yeah I heard about getting strips welded in, I trust that there must be a small amount of filler on top though to smooth it all off. I guess without the strips its prone to cracking.

Love those wheels fella 8) Looks very tidy, Ive had mine 6 years now and I thought that was a long term relationship! jamminvr6storm - cool username :wink: :salute: As my wife put it once - 'there are only two things I know of that have kept your attention - me and your corrado!!!' :lol: As for my wheels, it took me months to decide what to get - way back around 2001 - all this interest in them makes me think I should not change them. I only wish they did them in 16" as I think 17's are a little bit too big for the Corrado IMO.

hehehe, I am fortunate in that a mate of mine is an absolute 'dub' nut so I am following his advice, although it does make obvious sense to get these parts replaced, after all they are 15 years old now!!

Well I still haven't found the time to fit the blower motor, but I've ordered a new headunit which should be here soon so it will make sense to fit these both at the same time as I will have to take part of the lower dash out. I ordered some new coilovers from Venom yesterday, these should be with me next week, and whilst these get fitted I am going to replace some key parts to the suspension also: Front and rear top mounts Front wishbones complete with bushings Front lower balljoints Front steering/track control arms with new balljoints. Going by the prices I've paid for some parts lately, £20 each will be a welcome relief!!

Was this for the whole headlight unit or just the lense?

I said I was upgrading the car not breaking it! Hehehe. I'll be sure to post in the For Sale section when the time comes. Anyway, my new blower motor arrived today from GSF to replace the old noisey one thats been damaged by a water leak coming from the vent that sits under the windscreen in the engine bay. Hopefully I'll have time today to fit it. Looking forward to quiet air entering the car now!!! Hi all, Thought it was about time I created my own gallery thread on here. I've had the car nearly 9 years now, its remained pretty much the same spec for quite sometime, but over the last few months my enthusiasm for it has been renewed. This thread will be my diary of the progress I am making, be nice to know if anyone else has owned their C for a similar amount of time as me! Here are a couple of pics... DSCF0307.JPG[/attachment:3bspr8b9] I initially lowered it 30mm on some cheap Jamex shocks, fitted a speedtech stainless steel exhaust, RH alloys (now looking a little corroded after 7 or so years of being on the car), air filter and a 280mm momo steering wheel. The plan is to fix all the little niggly problems it has, replace the shocks, exhaust (I hate the damn thing now) and buy new wheels etc, plus a new steering wheel as the steering is damn heavy with only 280mm of leverage!!! I wont be doing anything new or pushing the boundaries, I just want to try and acheive the Corrado I've always wanted - so I will hopefully be going down the deep-dish euro look as I think that suits the Corrado down to a, er, 'C' :wink: I've got some goodies coming in the mail soon, I'll post up my progress as and when... Nope, its just the basic alarm/immob, nothing flash. The fobs look fine, one of them I have never used, but thanks for the suggestions.

already tried that, even tried to bind the fobs by placing them right next to the unit..no joy. thanks for the suggestion though.
