Brakes - Brembo/R32 stubaxle and caliper conversion
dragon green replied to _Matt_'s topic in Drivetrain
16vG60 (John) sells a vented rear brake kit (John Mitchell racing) Does sound like one of his kits, he doesn’t do a vented kit to go under 15” wheels, (I enquired) -

This is a NOS heater box I’ve had in my loft for many years, I tried to take pics to show the foam, and two doors have foam stops ! I have dynaliner here, and it is very much the same as OE, I’ve bought a new matrix, and will be putting it all in very shortly. I’ve done the matrix before, (dash out twice) but this time I’m going to try leaving the dash in, I’ll let you know how I get on

They sell braided lines, an adaptor is needed to bolt the caliper to the strut, they do that, they do the hi-tensile bolts, everything you need, even brake fluid !
-
Billet 4’s, if you ring them, they do a complete kit for the Corrado, I live about 1/2 hr from their factory, when I bought mine (about 19 years ago) I picked the parts up, and they showed me around, I have the original part list, but mines a four stud car !
-
I have hi-specs on mine, done about 180k on them, they fit under my 15” wheels with no problem I’ve found for best performance to take out pads, clean and re-grease (copper slip) pads and pins, I’m only on my 2nd set of pins ! I use ebc red pads, but really down to the driver choice

The "Will these wheels and tyres fit" thread
dragon green replied to gradeAfailure's topic in Exterior
I have checked the whole thread, but can’t find the answer ! 7 x 15 et 20 cars lowered on KW’s can I go to a 215 x 45 Or should I just stick with 195x 50’s ? Original wheels are et35 (4stud car) so the extra 15mm will fill out the arches better, will they fit without rubbing -

Just my 2p There are early and late doors ! I have one of each, the later doors have extra reinforcement, which needs trimming,to fit the early mirror control, I had no problem with the hinges
-
Just checked the date on the pic,December 2012 !

My corrado, it really made it feel stiffer on the corners, I did replace it, but with a BBM alloy one, that’s quick release, Makes life easier, if I have anything large to carry in the boot. Mines used as a daily, so everything has to be practical
-
Someone was making their own version of the trimsport one, and there was a group buy on here, a long time ago. I had one, very well made, worth the money
-
I made mine “quick release” so much easier to check the fluids
-
It was entertaining, not enough detail, Nowhere as good as the wheeler dealer episode, but very much a watch for the enthusiast

I have the eilbach on mine, you don’t notice the difference as much as the rear strut bar, until you really start to push it.Uprated anti roll bars are definitely the way to go, then the rear strut, then the front strut
