no good sir, there is another i know of i am running a Longlife 2.5" stainless with hiflow CAT it has been fabricated to join just after the downpipe & the 2.5" system matches as close as possible to the diameter coming off said downpipe took the guy in birmingham Longlife 7.5 hours to custom fabricate on the VR, which is lowered quite a bit should you wish to hear it Spen, there are 2 videos on page 7 http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?44751-g0ldf1ng3r-s-VR6-amp-1-8-16V/page7 & then install images on page 8 it cost me 400 of the finest pound notes all in & worth every penny IMO i should do another video to try & capture the burbles i can get it to do when slowing & downchanging, i love them to bits!! lol
-
oh, that might be a quandary then i wonder if you could fabricate a small tube to go between the 2 sections - i guess as long as the seal is good it wouldnt cause an issue
-
oh dear indeed! where did you buy the miltek from? & where did you get the cat?
-
Swompy - what are you planning to put back on to the underside? dynotrol?
-
Dox where are you? lol whats your thoughts?
-
pleasure m8 reading it back myself id forgotten how many parts were changed lol thanks for the wiper info, oh yes your sig says TT lol i guess if i would at least only need to buy 1 wiper arm then, think i will grab them for a later date
-
Spen - i see you have lupo wipers on yours can i ask are they both driver side arms? the gf's old lupo is going to the mechanics son to break & i am tempted to steal the wipers but not sure if worth it if i have to buy another arm

have a read of the post i wrote about it on page to m8 http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?44751-g0ldf1ng3r-s-VR6-amp-1-8-16V/page2 as many do with older cars, once a fair few parts were replaced it highlighted weak links in the chain & those needed sorting too as such the final number of parts replaced was quite a few more than originally thought, hence the bill was a fair bit steeper, but as you will see there were lots of parts i cant recall the exact figure but it was a fair whallop lol & rather more than the original quote, around 3.5+K i think if you want i can dig all the receipts out & PM you the full info speaking of which, i really should dig out the RR map Vince gave me as the power curves he produced not only looked lovely on the graph but feel so much better underfoot. it has the whap, whap, whap kind of fast rev sound like a powerful motor bike & now ive the Longlife SS on it oh my word the burbles & noises i can get it to make are just addictive!! lol

thanks Spen trying to decide whether to raise the front & if so how much due to some arch liner rubbing
-
i remembered to take the VR to work today & empty'ish car park upon arrival couple of height pics including rear
-
nice mk2 Dox!! love the eybrow which accommodates the twin headlights too :D
-
nice, was it a big bumper mk2? i do love the valver in its whiteness :D am toying with putting the Kamei front splitter on that is in the loft but id love to put the full kit on the VR really, however i dont know if it will have fitment issues as the kit is based on early dimensions
-
is the car currently for sale?
-
here you go Dox, and anyone else....
-
Dox i love your enthusiasm!! the valver is still on its factory suzzy's so is kinda 4*4 lol but i will pop out when stops raining & take a couple & post
-
are they rust free & would you ship a pair on an insured service to the UK? if yes, can i have a price & pictures pls?
-
it likely is wishful thinking but Anna has already said she will approach the subject again with her boss. the part i wrote about the 100 number needed was said by Anna so lets hope she can convince the boss to look at it
-
balls - i came to work in the valver today & totally forgot i was going to post VR height pics, grrr
-
it is a ****e shate isnt it! 400 euro a side is just taking the michael from classic parts but then with import duty on some CF ones from spoonfed, & the gamble of them arriving from the US perfect, even CF are hugely expensive plus it is a joke really when, for example, you can buy an entire lower door repair panel for a T25 van for about £25 im am hoping big time that AnnaVR6 can talk her boss around into reproducing them - most people want/need both sides so her boss's 'we would need to make a 1000 of them to be worthwhile' is not out of question if that was 500 per side & the price was good i am hoping the body guy i am soon going to see for the VR can work some magic with my current ones or else it might be rat rado time
-
thats what i was trying to figure who's stash is that & how they hell did they collect so many recaro's!!?? (and are any for sale lol)
-
good luck - few & far between from my hunting
-
i like the RDO plate - ive often thought of that myself always wanted F45TAS lol
-
ha ha ok Dox i will take some & post them tomorrow again, i like your suggestion but the V1's are already a bit stiff on our crap UK roads (put the VR on a proper smooth tarmac & they are awesome though) & the addition of a bump stop would reduce travel even further i guess im being picky as i doubt a 10mm raise would really be that noticable lol
