-
they look nice :)
-
ha ha ha!!! you poor soul. i am sure the garage will take care, well, hope they do ;) i think it is less daunting when you do it yourself lol
-
i would agree with all of that above m8, including the 'only on when at work' :D lol did you get yourself a hose clip tool? only a few £'s & makes reconnecting the coolant hoses to he new matrix massively easier
-
ha ha its ok m8, not your fault & i appreciate you hopping on the bay to have a look :) i kick myself every day as the ones that went on here were 3 piece 16"'s with centre caps & only £350. i even went as far as sending the seller a PM to ask if they knew if the buyer was going to use them lol plus, i waited - well it took me, over 10 years to find another Kamei body kit so modena's can wait lol
-
box of joy!!! now that does sound interesting!! lol
-
arrgghhh i shouldnt have looked lol 16" 2 piece set ending today but they have different centers to the 3 piece - must not spend, i have 4 pots to pay for :(
-
yup they are the puppies m8! though the ones on here were 16"s & half that price with center caps lol maybe one day but i keep an eye out every now & then

tidy :) ok m8 - FYI i dont tend to be on here much on the weekend though but i am sure it will all make sense once you are in front of it again in terms of feedback for others, including the OP, how did you find getting it all apart? PS putting it back in is much less stressful lol
-

Hi Nick if you take a look at the page i sent you on my build thread there are a few pics where you can see the inside of my air box. you will see 2, i think, mental panels on the inside of the air box & can see where the original lining has disintegrated allowing you to then see the holes in said metal plate IIRC there is one each side, IE left & right it is the moving part/panel inside the air box that provides the mix between hot or cold air when you move the dial on the heater controls basically inside the big black box bit you have to wriggle out from the very centre of the console once the dash is out & you have removed the small metal bracket from by the gear lever

thanks it is the sliding part i am unsure of - ive seen how it kind of pushes up & back or something i hope the backing card stuff makes it through a bath ok m8! for the roof you could maybe try something similar to what i am going to use to reline the doors - https://www.silentcoat.co.uk/collections/silent-coat/products/silent-coat-2mm-mat-door-pack not sure about the 3kg per sq/m though
-
someone grab them if they are right lol i still badly regret not buying the autostrada modena's that were sold on here a couple of years ago :(
-
good work how did you find taking out the roof lining? i need to do that in my VR - oddly the valver, which is 5 years older has a great roof lining lol lucky with the speakers too m8! i run Infinity Kappa's all round in the VR, 5.25's in the doors & 6*9's in the shelf :D sadly no audio yet in the valver
