CanadianCorrado 0 Posted March 6, 2005 Hey, new to the site and thought i'd post a picture of my C. It is currently being converted from a G60 to 1.8T. Enjoy. PS sorry about the large pic, will try and resize. Cheers, Andrew

_leon_ 0 Posted March 6, 2005 welcome Andrew! good to see another raddo join :) noticed the side repeaters are different from C's here - is this an american thing?
Phil K 0 Posted March 6, 2005 They're side markers and come on with the h/lights (don't know if they flash when you turn though) I kinda like 'em and it's an unusual way to get away (legally) with losing your side repeaters - trouble is you can't get clear lenses for them! All American and Canadian spec C's have them AFAIK EDIT: Welcome to the forum Andrew
CanadianCorrado 0 Posted March 7, 2005 Thanks for the welcome guys, if any of you would like the North American look with the side repeaters I'm sure we could arrange a bumper swap :D lol I really want to get front and rear European bumpers. Thanks again for the welcome. Andrew
Phil K 0 Posted March 7, 2005 rears are the same aren't they?
CanadianCorrado 0 Posted March 7, 2005 I always thought they had the license plate recess in the bumper? but looking at your sig picture I seem to be wrong :D lol

Phil K 0 Posted March 7, 2005 I always thought they had the license plate recess in the bumper? but looking at your sig picture I seem to be wrong :D lol not on the rear mate.. the front's do though! I prefer them smoothed in the middle with the plate relocated lower down...
CanadianCorrado 0 Posted March 7, 2005 Hmmm I'll have to keep an eye out for the bumper with the spot for the plate below. Here's a site with pics of the car, once the snow goes away and the new motor starts going in I'll update it often with new pictures and such. Well I learned something new about the bumpers today lol I like the spot for the front plate on the euro bumpers, mainly because I havent seen one in real life yet on a Corrado around here. http://www.mortoko.ca/corrado/
dinkus 10 Posted March 7, 2005 Hey dude, welcome to the forum :) You should come over to the CCC meet in TO in May. I'm flying over the PEI to meet up with chimo then we're doing the monster road trip across. It'd be cool to have a mini convoy over. In fairness it's probably a bit of a mission for you to get off the rock tho ;)
CanadianCorrado 0 Posted March 7, 2005 Hey Dinkus, yeah Chimo's not too far from me. If I could get the time off work I'd love to cruise up with you guys. I'm actually from Saint John New Brunswick :D not Newfoundland lol no rock here. Are you guys driving up through the states or up through quebec? Let me know maybe we could meet up for a few before you guys hit the road? Cheers Andrew
Ford 0 Posted March 7, 2005 Keep that front bumper!!! Very nice, wheels really suit that pearl green C. Looks squat and purposeful 8)
chimo 0 Posted March 7, 2005 Hey Andrew The plan is that Dinkus there is going to fly into Halifax, and we'll be driving from there. We'll be going through New Brunswick (love that route 2) and Quebec... maybe we could meet in Fredricton or Edmonston.... still have some time to do all this and much has to be completed on my Corrado before the journey begins...
