Electric windows problem (i think)

I have a problem with my electric windows... sometimes the open/close button in the left door doesn't work.. .at the same time, the button in the right door doesn't work even.. (LHD)

 

because i have a car alarm with comfort close, i normally don't look if i have closed the windows, because it should close all automaticly...

 

now is my question:

 

is it normal that if there is a loose contact in the switch in the drivers door, the passegners door doesn't work either ??? does the main unit power off when something is wrong... or where should i look... i don't really like my corrado unclosed on a parking
