G60Dan 0 Posted June 30, 2005 Back in late October/early November I bought a Miltek system & de-cat pipe from JMR. As in the picture, the pipe, NOT the box, the pipe! has split. I just wondered where I stood on getting a replacement?? Am I looking to have to buy a replacement? Or will Miltek send a replacement? Cheers Dan
Neil VR6 0 Posted June 30, 2005 Contact John (16VG60) then! Having had lots of work done by him I would imagine you'd get a replacement from Milltek straight away under warranty. They've got very good customer service. Having said that it may depend on who fitted it?

Henny 0 Posted June 30, 2005 that's a manufacturing flaw... Where the sheild has been welded on it's weakened the stainless pipe which has allowed it to crack. You should have no problem getting a replacement from Milltek as it's obvious what the problem is. Have a word with John and I'm sure he'll sort you out. 8)
G60Dan 0 Posted June 30, 2005 John's been really cool about it. I'm going down later today to pick up a replacement. Cheers Lads

G60Dan 0 Posted July 1, 2005 John was very helpful, even supplied me with some new bolts for nothing, new de-cat pipe is now on and car is running much better. Thanks again John! Dan
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted July 1, 2005 Glad it's sorted, locking. I bet a certain 3 people were expecting me to wade in with some Milltek abuse, eh? LOL!
