G60Dan 0 Posted August 26, 2005 Didn't get it unfortunately, but I've received a good redundancy which helps a lot!

fla 9 Posted August 26, 2005 Hang in there mate - you'd be surprised where opportunities arise from. Chat to mates - they often know who is looking for a new recruit in their company, but don't consciously think of you. Make them aware you're on the lookout. G60Dan 0 Posted August 30, 2005 Cheers Fellas. I finish tomorrow, I'll just be spending today sorting the CV & getting it sent out etc. At least I'll be able to book the car in at Gwerks for it's service & not having to worry about getting the time off! LOL!

weedwhacker 0 Posted August 30, 2005 i had something much the same, got booted, no income and a mtg and bills to pay. car is the last thing you need to get rid of mate. you will need it to get to interviews and stuff. just lay off the mods for a while. if you have to sell something and you still have stds let the wheels go or bits and bobs, you can always get a different set. but as you said finding a good one is getting harder. youll get there but dont get too deperate, employers pick up on that!!! take a few days chill out and check things out next week. just think it could be worse... you could drive a citroen saxo..... ugh!!!!!!!!!!
