Dr Forinor 0 Posted June 27, 2006 Another couple of shots from that place, see what you think? :) Thinking of going back and getting a few more angles and perfecting the shots from there, (ie trying diff angles, centering it more, try diff zooms etc etc). Will get back to you guys on that one :)
Guest Posted June 27, 2006 apparently (according to a girl I was seeing in Oz who studies cinematrography) you NEVER centre the subject. you have the height right (IMG_0352.jpg), the other axis should be the same, its all run in thirds (imagine a noughts and crosses board, you want the subject to appear on the lines) so the IMG_0352.jpg looks just about right, with a bit of cropping
Dr Forinor 0 Posted June 27, 2006 Gotcha man, thanks for the tip :D

Phil K 0 Posted June 27, 2006 ''IMG_0351.jpg'' still does it for me! How large is the resolution? So long as it's a decent size then post your pic in the June thread :D
Dr Forinor 0 Posted June 27, 2006 Lol, the original picture is 8megapixels, resolution 3456 x 2304, so its big enough, lol.
Dr Forinor 0 Posted December 3, 2008 Erm, I need to keep this upto date more often lol. Right, last year, around October-ish time, I got a fair bit done at Stealth; - New rear axle with new OEM bushes (had a 'little' bump that sent my axle out) - New rear brake bias valve - Goodridge stainless steel hoses - The whole 312mm brake setup at the front (want to go bigger/better soon tho...) - Neuspeed rear ARB 25mm (set to medium setting) - Mocal oil cooler fitted - Both standard radiator fans ditched for lightweight 10" and a 12" fans - New front wishbones with new bushes - New balljoints - New rod and ends - Koni fully adjustable coilovers fitted with new bumpstops and top mounts I think that was all that I needed, not had a look at the sheet yet. Before this visit, I already had; - BMC CDA - Magnatec HT leads - Enlargened, ported and flowed throttle body - Lupo wpers (will change for the Audi TT wipers soon enough) - Billet gearknob from SNS
Dr Forinor 0 Posted December 3, 2008 Right, this year in August, at Stealth I got the following done; - Timing chains done (at just under 97k miles, more of a preventative measure than anything else) - Helix clutch fitted - Fidanza flywheel fitted - Schimmel camshafts fitted - Schrick manifold fitted - New electric water pump - New mechanical water pump - New thermostat housing with thermostat and sensors - New lambda and cam sensors - ARP head bolts fitted - Comlete head overhaul - Quaiffe diff fitted - Stealth custom map - Neuspeed rear ARB adjusted from medium to stiffest setting This is all in preparation to get a rotrex supercharger fitted and from then we'll see how things go :D :D :D

VAG-hag 0 Posted December 3, 2008 She has had plenty of TLC there. Nice looking C too.... BTW how do you adjust the rear ARB & whats the advantage of TT wipers over Lupos?? Cheers man, C
Toad 0 Posted December 3, 2008 Did you get it on the rolling road? I'd be really interested by seeing a set of torque and power curves. Must be quite pleased with it at the moment then? Good to see you back btw.
junkie 0 Posted December 3, 2008 I have the same bar and it has 3 holes drilled on it basically where the rose joints goes through to bolt it to the car, so the furthest out hole has more leverage on it so is the least stiffest and furthest in is the most stiffest, just unbolt the rose joint and move to a different hole. Dr Forinor 0 Posted December 4, 2008 Impressive list! Did you get it on the rolling road? Not yet, I will do that when I get it supercharged so at least it'll be worthwhile then, for now am happy with the little performance in hike, hehehe. whats the advantage of TT wipers over Lupos?? From this forum I have heard they wipe better with little to no judder, sounds like a win-win to me :D I'd be really interested by seeing a set of torque and power curves. Must be quite pleased with it at the moment then? Good to see you back btw. I'd be interested aswell, but I cant be bothered with the time and money just now for the rolling road, I'd rather just wait until I get it charged. Yeh, I'm absolutely effin chuffed with it, that adjustment from the "medium" setting to the "stiff" setting on the ARB made a HUGE difference, and the diff, fook me how much fun is that thing!!!!!! The clutch has a better biting point, a little more precise. And the HOWL between 3k-4k revs, its bloody addictive, especially in 3rd gear!! And cheers for the welcome back :) alright mate - nice work! when you fancy meeting up? Erm, when are you free? You dont seem to be on MSN nowadays, whats happened mate?
