wheres the best place to get a new sunroof seal vw ???????

had a wet carpet the other day, found the seal letting water in where the best place to get one or is it a vw only part

Erm... the 'seal' is meant to let water in, a new one won't fix the leak!

 

Check the drain holes!

it lets water in at the back of the sunroof

 

if you tilt it up where it comes back down and touches the roof it self it lets the water in there

 

never done it before ????????

Sounds like blocked drain pipes as supercharged said, it shouldn't matter how much water goes past the seal as long as the drain pipes are clear.
