MAF (Mass Airflow Meter) Cheapest Supplier?

Hi all,

 

I need a MAF part number 021 906 462 for a 95 VR6. I've read all the threads on here about buying one for a different car but I don't think mine is the same. It has a 4 pin connector. The Bosch part number is 028 021 7504. I've been quoted £213.33 plus VAT by a local Bosch agent and he said there are none in the country! I've sourced a second hand one but would really prefer new....

GSF say they don't list one for the Corrado and the part number I gave them they said had 5 pins but mine has 4?

Just checked with VW - The 021 906 462A is available for £75 plus VAT exchange and was fitted to Golf VR6 93-98, Vento 97-98, Transporter 96-04 and Sharan 96-00. Does anyone know if the A version will fit the Corrado cos there's a price difference of about £230!!!!

Help! Kev or anyone else, do you know if the 'A' makes that much difference?

It will fit physically but there's only one way to find out if it will run or not!

 

Never tried an A on non-A car, so I don't know. I would imagine it would work if VW claim it was on the 93 Golf as it's 2 years older than yours.
