Is this a wheel weight?

Found this on the garage floor. Not entirely sure if it came of the car or not, but if it did how critical would it be?

yeah just a self adhesive wheel weight, have a look at the back of your wheels for a clean spot the same size and if you find one stick them back on with some strong double sided foam tape.

Ah, cheers Dan, but the car has been out the garage for a month now. Ill have no way of finding out where it went. Reckon it can wait till I get a new tyre fitted?

Nip along to your local Quick-Fit or similar, they`ll prob do it for nothing or very little :wink:

make sure they put it on the back, i told the wheel place not to put em on the front and they did anyway and looked ugly.

you would most probably notice 50grams of weights missing even on the back, have you got any wheel wobble.

That was my thought, if it drives OK missing that much weight I wouldn't be bothered looking where it came from!

From where I found it in the garage its probably from the front wheel.

 

No discernable wheel wobble, although under hard braking it seems to judder a little. Ill get it put back on and see what happens.
