andyVR6 0 Posted January 17, 2007 is there anything inside the mirror unit that would stop it from working or is it just the element in the glass. if it is the glass is it a dealer only part?
ben16v 0 Posted January 18, 2007 iirc theres two contact on the back of the glass that can corrode, you can prise the glass off carefully to see glass is VW and about £40 i think
tonedef 9 Posted January 18, 2007 Were heated mirrors standard fit or not? My first Corrado, a 1990 valver with manual windows and no sun roof had them, yet my 95 VR6 with electric everything and leather appears not to. Or at least neither has ever worked in over six years since I've owned it, not that I've ever investigated the reason for this, I was just interested.
