CorradoVR6-Turbo 0 Posted February 12, 2007 Brakes are very high on the list. Just not sure what to go for though. tarox or Brembo. The biggest you can fit under your wheels  I forgot how easy i smoked my standard brakes when i first took the raddo out for its first run from stealth!
aposegil 0 Posted February 12, 2007 well like i mentioned to Chris give the brakes a full service, new fluid, new m/c, braided lines and cheap calipers S2 or brembo's but he def needs brakes!!! lol
C. Will Corrado G60 2 0 Posted February 12, 2007 biggerbigben, Thanks, it's a nice tidy install. CorradoVR6-n.o.s, What brakes do you have on yours? Braking at the moment needs to be planned!!
CorradoVR6-Turbo 0 Posted February 12, 2007 Standard....for now.
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted February 13, 2007 Will, you're more than welcome to drive my car as soon as I get my issues sorted out. Seems I've got some duff valve guides in the head that need replacing. Might not be a good idea though as you'll defo want a turbo afterwards  Brakes - Get some monsters on there! I use AP Racing 4 pots with 330mm discs. They give you the confidence to drive it hard more of the time because you know you will be able to stop!! They've saved me from a few scrapes!!! C. Will Corrado G60 2 0 Posted February 13, 2007 Even though it may make me feel like I've gone the wrong way with supercharging, I'd still like to see what all this turbo talk is about. When you got it all sorted I really like to see how different it is. Thanks for the offer. How much were your AP racing brakes, I've been offer tar-ox 6 pots for £850.
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted February 13, 2007 The APs were about £1300 new. £850 for the TAR-OX is good if they're new.
C. Will Corrado G60 2 0 Posted February 13, 2007 Yep, new. Just can't afford it right now after the engine work. They'll have to wait, but not for too long.
