Infusion 0 Posted February 22, 2007 Hi All.. Hope you can help me with this problem. When I turn the key in the ignition barrel I have to push it up atthe same time for it to make the connection and turn the engine. This has been getting steadily worse over time, so much so that I have a permanant dint in my finger from the amount of pressure I have to put on it... So I have a shiny new barrel with a new key. This is where I need some help. How on gods green earth do I replace it?? there doesn't seem to be any way of getting the old one out. Any clues anyone?? soother 0 Posted February 26, 2007 you need to drill a hole in the housing it go's in to if you look on the your nice shinny new barrel you will see a spring clip you need to drill the hole where you think that is so you can push it down to let the old one come out good luck
