Will a 16v mk2 golf 4 branch manifold fit a valver?

Apparently yeah it fit's straight on,

We are talking about a 4 branch exhaust manifold here i believe...

 

Unsure to the answer, easiest way to find out would be to have a look at them both and see if itll marry up to the exhaust ok, i reckon itll bolt straight into the head ok...

I think it depends on the flavour of valver, a 1.8 *should* be ok, but a 2.0 will lose the cat, making MOTs awkward...

yeah sorry not to clarify it is the exhaust manifold. i was under the impression that the engine bay etc were similar and they were similar shapes with no pumps or stuff blocking them.

 

not to worried about the cat but having to fabricate it in rather than bolting it in i can see being an issue in 12months and no doubt ill regret the decision!!

If its a 2.0l 16v, then no, as the flange sits further back IIRC. If its a 1.8l then yes is should as the 1.8 doesn't have a CAT.

Toad will be able to confirm first hand as soon as I get my finger out and strip the 4 branch from my Golf :lol:

yes the 1.8 golf and 1.8 corrado 16v manifolds will interchange i used to run a tsr golf 1
