G60 fuel pump replacement.

Recommended Posts

Ive ordered a fuel pump (in tank) for my late g60...The guy said it could come with all the sender and everything or just on its own...so i ordered just the pump.

Will the new pump just simply connect to all the original sender etc?

And has anyone done this, got any info/pointers?

Neil.

Sorry just re-read that - on ETKA it clearly states you also now need the sender - the parts guy should have seen this and ordered that too...

Yeah it's fairly easy, you take one out as a unit and sit it next to the new bits while you build it up to look like the old one, there are a few bits different but you'll see how to connect the wires and the newer plastic fuel hoses, it then just clips back in like the old one (bayonet fitting)

Yeah, eveything comes with the sender so you don't need anything else... just takes a little time to build it up but not long at all...
