yeah its a BBM charger, same as mine. But im pretty sure mine isnt that loud. infact nowhere near that loud.

I've heard/been in a BBM charged Mk2 golf and it sounds even worse than in that clip. Ridiculous. Like those stupid chavvy loud dump valves and things - 'look at me!'

 

They do a 'silencer kit' which aparently helps a bit.

mine doesnt sound anything like that. the only reason i can think of as to why his one sounds like that would be either a silly small pulley and/or the nasty induction kit. which brings me onto the point of WHY do people use induction kits?? they dont do the car any favours and MOST people use them because they give out a stupid sound. Give me a paper filter in a standard airbox anyday of the week! (probably the reason my BBM isnt very loud then!)
