THAT RESULTED IN WATER AND ANTIFREEZE FLOWWING OUT OF THE HOSE.

BUT THE TEMPRETURE LIGHT KEEPS FLASHING AND WONT GO OFF??

BUT EVERYTHING IS WORKING NO OVERHEATING AND TEMPRETURE IS NORMAL.

DOES THE LIGH NEED TO BE RESET OR SOMETHING AS MY MECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE ISNT VERY GOOD.

The light is for coolant level, not temperature.

Check that the level is between the min and max markings on the header tank.

If it is, then it could be the plug for the sensor is loose/disconnected/full of water. Otherwise it could be the sensor (2 metal prongs in the header tank) is dead.

My temp light always flashes, which is quite annoying (will fix it when i can be arsed). Had no troubles though, just keep an eye on the actual temp dial until you get it sorted :p
