Introducing myself and my first Corrado.

Hey all!

 

Hello to everyone! I've been in the VW scene for a couple of years.. started small but have now joined the big boys.

 

 

Picked up my first Corrado yesterday and I love it!

Went from a 1.3ltr mk3 polo GT coupe:

To this VR6 with leather :)

90k, black heated leather, all electrics work! 2 previous owners etc etc. pretty standard.

 

 

It's lovely to drive.. as I'm sure a lot of you know.

I'll be picking all your brains soon.. so be warned!

Same jump as me then, except i went Geeeee60 :lol:

 

Currently prefer the look of the Polo though, hope you can get the same mean look from your VR6

The polo took a lot of hard work to get to that stage, but I can't ever leave my cars alone, so the 'rado will get a few bits done here and there to smarten her up.

 

It was indeed the car we talked about mister deviant.. I decided to go for this one in the end, even though it was a bit more than i originally wanted to pay.

 

 

Plans are:

 

Coilovers, debadge, all red rears and some nice wheels.

Then... just minor bits and bobs i guess...

 

Oh.. and paying for petrol ;)

I've been getting 30odd mpg out of it on longer journeys so far.. so it isn't THAT bad!

 

I recognise the name polo01 too.. a couple of us have been making a similar transition it would appear!

Yeh seems that way....i do still want to stay involved with the polo scene tho, so gonna maybe look for a G as a 2nd car. Quite keen on that.

 

Looks like you have some good plans for her. Look forward to the progress :D
