Who in Berkshire is good for Timing Chains?

 

My Rado (vr6) has got to the point when the rattle at idle and back off is worrying.

 

I know the Phirm have a good rep. But I live and work in Reading.

 

Can anyone with experience recomend somewhere to do a reasonable job in replacing the timing chain tensioners and if need be replace chains and lower tensioner, and any idea of costs?

 

I have ben quoted circa £400 + Parts but I have no idea of parts prices.

You're going to be looking at another £400 or so for a clutch and timing chain parts.

 

FYI Stealth charge circa £700 for the job all-in, but no idea on a yokel place.
