yacobwood 0 Posted May 20, 2008 Been a member for a while now so thought i would post some pics  . Not the best pics but im no photographer :D So here goes. My 2.0 8v. Currently at 111k miles mark. Tried to keep it in good nic with a bit of care and covering her up every night. everything on here is more or less completly standard. its got a new leather steering wheel, gear knob and handbrake (covered up). swapped with the brother as he likes the older looking leather. Alexander 0 Posted July 26, 2008 Looking good dude! Don't think I've ever seen a C on Solitudes but it looks well!
Walesy 0 Posted July 27, 2008 Solitudes are the standard Storm alloys, these are 'westwoods' which all 8v's and late 16v's came with.
Alexander 0 Posted July 27, 2008 Ah yes, sorry you're right - these alloys also came on the 16v mk4 polos didn't they? Nice wheels.
ben_wooduk 0 Posted July 27, 2008 Alot nicer than the standard wheels that came with mine, estroils or something like that. cant stand them!

mbaker8v 0 Posted September 9, 2008 Nice looking 8v... Rare to see one with a sunrrof though.. ) What engine code is it? Mine has the 2E engine, yours looks different though a mine has an ISV between the rocker cover and inlet manifold i.e. immediately above the VW logo on the rocker cover..... I also had mine rechipped at AMD, made a massive difference to the pull of the engine and also improved the fuel economy... on a fast A road cruise I can average 42 mPG over 60 miles now... )
yacobwood 0 Posted August 5, 2009 you have a website or anythin for the chip. Curiosity just kills me :?
