Yup, I know which way I'd go if I had a VR at anywhere over 100k miles and it wouldn't involve rebuilding... I've never heard of any problems at all with VEGE or VAG exchange engines which is more than can be said for just about every other engine builder / shop i've heard of... Saying that, VEGE do only have limited supply. They only had 2 when i ordered mine and the other one was already sold.
