Well the tires went on the wheels today, sadly onto the front wheels have gone on as when i opened the second box of FK adapters there were no long bolts, so i got two bolts for 4 adapters :censored:

So now the fronts are on and the rears aren't, push bike again tomorrow! Will be ringing Venom first thing to get the bolts sent asap.

Also, these wheels stick out a wee bit further than my previous ones, so they really show off the knackered tracking  , that'll be sorted at the weekend

It'll be getting a bloody good clean this weekend! 5hrs sat+sun, so should be looking mint! So once that is finished i'll be getting some pics up. Very happy with the fronts though :luvlove:

The fronts fit a treat:

The wheels are 16x8 all round with an offset of 35, taken down to 15 with the 20mm 4x100 to 5x100 FK adapters, with 195/40 Pirelli P Zero Nero's.

More lowerage need though me thinks

'lo skinnyman. Can you let me know how you get on with those coilovers. Just got a set myself, i just want another opinion. Also in the pic of the wheels fitted, was that after laser alignment? when i fitted the same coilovers to my car, they were set really low. The top of the wheels were in quite alot. Even after taking the coilovers back off and raising them a bit, the steering is WELL off. I know this is to be expected. I just wondered if the wheels pic was before or after fitting.

Cheers mate!

Prior to them going on I thought they'd look terrible but on the car they actually look pretty cool - and at least they're pretty darn unique! Nice one skinnyman! Wonder what they look like with the car moving? Given such a chunky design reckon they'll just look like a big smooth dish when driving!

Can't say i'm a fan but kudos for sticking them on regardless of what anyone thinks, I know you were aware that they weren't going to be everyone's choice but it's your car so balls to 'em :thumbleft:

I expect you'll be aware dude, but just in case - after changing your suspenders you'll need to have the camber checked/sorted

They're definately a marmite wheel choice i'll say that! Im hoping to get some rolling shots on the way to E38, so will be interesting to see what they look like on the move.

In the pics the suspension has only been roughly set, i dont have a flat drive so its difficult. However, tomorrow morning my neighbour is going out so i'm using their flat drive to set the height correctly, the front will be dropped down too i reckon.

Also, those pics are before laser alignment, the wheels literally went on a few days ago and the car hasn't been anywhere since. On tues/weds night it'll be going for some tracking work, so that should sort everything out, hopefully.

Also, with these wheels no one has the excuse of not recognising my car when its out and about

The interior is red, for some reason things come out pinkish on my phone, like my car for example, its a deep red gloss but looks pink, hmmm

I salute you you for doing your own thing :salute: , would imagine it'll grab some attention at E38, I'll certainly be checking it out :)

Just out of interest I noticed another silver C in the garage in the background of one of the pics obviously being worked on - whose is that?
