dinkus 10 Posted September 16, 2008 Yeah, thanks again for all your help - it was a monsterous mission, but definitely well worth every second! I think it's gonna take quite a few reach-arounds before I've fully paid you back though...
Toad 0 Posted September 16, 2008 Have you told your mum about our deal yet? Oh, and no worries. Nice feeling to see it scurrying around Germany.
dinkus 10 Posted September 16, 2008 I'm off to see her this weekend, so I'll break it to her gently then...

MK1Campaign 0 Posted September 16, 2008 Very nice. The wheels really suit it.
KipVR 1 Posted September 16, 2008 REALLY nice Corrado Dinkus, silver is the best colour for sure, couldn't find one when i bought mine.
dinkus 10 Posted September 16, 2008 Hehe thanks guys - it's really great to hear the compliments :) I may be a little biased, but silver is the best colour 8) Someone was saying a while ago (I think it might have been Eric) that they actually designed the Sciroccos and Corrados in silver and all the clay models that they made up were silver as it's a nice neutral colour. So if that's true (damn, another question for Schwebe that I think of *after* we've met him!) then silver is the only "proper" colour to have them in
Bally 0 Posted September 16, 2008 lovely rado.. always been a fan of silver ones!
craigowl 0 Posted September 17, 2008 Congratulations El Dinko. Beautiful car - what a lot of work - you have been a busy bee! Silver seems to be coming back, no? I thought people went off it for a while. Our first Polo, the Mk1 GLS of 1980 was metallic silver. 'tsagood colour IMO.
dr_mat 0 Posted September 17, 2008 Erm, which one is yours then? http://www.sniffpetrol.com/2008/06/06/a ... r-palette/ I think "Badger Arse" looks the best ...

CTWG60 0 Posted September 17, 2008 Looks good Dom. I think me and my mate decided that silver was the best colour to show off the C lines whilst we were looking at your car in Germany. But we didn't know it was yours at the time but I now recognise it from the pictures, I think. Neil VR6 0 Posted September 19, 2008 Looks superb. I would have loved a silver one but they're like hen's teeth. Top motor!
dinkus 10 Posted July 13, 2009 So alas she has finally gone to a new home. It was tough saying goodbye, but I honestly don't think she could have found a better owner - she'll definitely be well looked after and loved by neuon2003 :) viewtopic.php?f=11&t=82161
VR6 0 Posted July 13, 2009 Lock the door on your way out Dom :( At least it's a good home for the old girl anyway. Does he know that Toad is actually a non-optional extra that comes with the car?
Toad 0 Posted July 13, 2009 At least it's a good home for the old girl anyway. Does he know that Toad is actually a non-optional extra that comes with the car? Well, not actually me, but enough of my DNA to construct a replica. :)
