EF's Valver - its taken 9 months, but we're getting there...

Recommended Posts

I can't believe how much lovelier my C now looks and sounds after a bit of care, attention and cash thrown at it :D :D

Bit of history - bough in June last year after much searching as I knew I only wanted black. It was tired when I bought it, but it was cheap and I always said that as long it was running I was up for a bit of a project. The idea behind my C is that I want it orginal but just with a couple of very slight modifications, namely a stainless exhaust and BK Racing alloys - so its no to bigger wheels, lowering, crystal lights and all that jazz!

So, work undertaken so far:

Valve stem seal replacement (that quickly got rid of the blue smoke issues)

New rotor arm/dizzy cap

New HT leads

New oil filter

Two new wheel bearings

Powerflow stainless exhaust

...and a lovely new set of alloys :)

So not a lot really to get it looking lovely. There's a few rust patches and car park dings, thats this summers job!!

So firstly how it looked when I bought it:

And this is it as of today, freshly washed! 8)

Nope no lowering for me!

It indeed has no sunroof, when I bought it I automatically asked "does the sunroof work ok?" only for the woman selling it to turn round and say "err, it doesn't have one"
