HELP CHANGING STEERING WHEEL, all done :)

Recommended Posts

hi guys, been searching but to no avail - i have bought myself a stering wheel and boss and have removed the old wheel but i cant find any info on how to remove the old hub (think thats what its called) its the part called 2A in this diagram file.php?id=36120&mode=view im guessing that i have to remove that bit for the new boss to fit but do i just pull it off? - it doesnt move :( this is realy frustrating as all the info i can find is that diagram and http://www.corrado-vr6.info/docs/changi ... rrado2.pdf but it doesnt show how to remove this bit :(

the small boss does fit !

take off your stalk assemblys, use a small puller and take the splined adaptor off !

you now have a smaller spline underneath which your boss will fit

That is the spline boss you have to take off !!!

splined on the inside and outside,if you leave it on you can use the large splined boss, or remove it ,and use the smaller splined boss
