As in VW did it with the MK3, grossly under powered, and extremely heavy. Had one for a while, but chopped it in for my MK2.

It may be more economical but will probably cost more to insure as its been modified, i would've thought the 2.0 8v would be slow enough!

Good car for someone who would love a C & just starting out ...(thats assuming the insurance is cheaper with the 1.4)

 

I'd imagine it would be painfully slow ...0-60 in 14.5 secs :oops:

A 1.4 Corrado is completely pointless.....it's like removing Jordan's bra only to find the cleavage is just cotton wool.....
