My Corrado VR6 with red rears

Hey guys,

 

Just wanted some help....I know theres been tons of posts regarding red rears etc and how to make them flash orange....however, I did about 7 coats of red and installed green bulbs and still they flash red (okay...slighty amber but noway near enough red). My car wouldnt pass it's mot because of it. =(

 

What else can I do?

Buy a spare set of lights just for the MOT.

 

Strip paint of current set of lights.

 

Drive without an MOT.

 

Emigrate to Mexico and become a goat herder.

Halfords do Amber LED bulds which flash Amber through red lights

Yea it is mate, I struggled to fined ones that flashes Amber, they were the only ones that worked, I did try green etc They just flashed red

yup the amber bulbs work.. i was using them in all reds then i put the m3's on and just left em in. unless someone has made some with a resistor in then you will either have to wire one in or put another bulb inline, which is what i have done otherwise it will just flash really fast as if a bulb is out!

cheeky! i like it! i know that ring had just released the bulbs for the headlights aswell so might have to blag my rep to get some of these! :) cheers!
