dkingvr6 0 Posted July 4, 2010 Have tried a search and came up with no answers, basically the drivers side back rest adjuster wheel is spinning, but works when pressed inwards, how on earth does it come off??? dukest 0 Posted July 4, 2010 are you sure it wont come off just by wiggling it around a bit? the plastic wheel clips onto a metal disc with an oval shaped hole in it. that oval shape hole then fits over an oval shaped "peg" for want of a better word - this is what the wheel turns for the adjustment. a hex bolt holds the disc on the peg and must have come loose. eventually it will come out all together and allow the wheel including the disc to come off. then you have to pry them apart and bolt the disc back on and reclip the wheel over the disc. it will all make sense when you see it!
