rip in doorcard stretched vinyl material as jet edition-

the vinyl is ripped and keeps spreading in little lines are part of design and i was woundering if a soldering iron would seal the rip and then i could make a little arm rest thing to patch over it with it in purple leather around am arm rest ill make as it goes over the edge of part of doorcard with drop also nwear where ya arm sits :(
