16vStyle 0 Posted February 25, 2004 It's Not as bad as the one that got into PVW! Still You gotta ask why :?: :)
PhatVR6 0 Posted February 25, 2004 I don't even like mk4 headlights on a mk4, lord knows why so many people put them on other cars! have you seen the corrado with the bora lights!! that is even worse.
Jim 2 Posted February 25, 2004 Well the work looks well done, but it certainly doesn't do it for me. MK4 Headlights & Corrado = NO!
stormseeker 0 Posted February 25, 2004 It's Not as bad as the one that got into PVW! Still You gotta ask why :?: :) I can quite understand why people do it - 'cos they're trying to create something like what might have been if the Corrado was still in production.... like Jims16v's photochop of the R32 Corrado, only they do it in steel... Some of these hybrids look OK (like the one above which I don't think is too bad... ;-) ), and some look possitively awful (like you quite rightly say, the PVW featured one)
Bally 0 Posted February 25, 2004 WTF!!! why oh why.. if he wanted MK4 lamps, he should have bought a MK4 & modded that
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted February 25, 2004 Why they use the chrome lights is beyond me, Dahlback Racing's Blacked out MK4 lights look a million times better.....even on MK4s! http://www.dahlbackracing.se
Campaign 0 Posted February 25, 2004 Why they use the chrome lights is beyond me, Dahlback Racing's Blacked out MK4 lights look a million times better.....even on MK4s! http://www.dahlbackracing.se 'coz they cost money? These peeps probably get scrapper ones. BTW I think it looks better than the mincy coloured Fiat one... But still... NAAH!
Jim 2 Posted February 25, 2004 Here, for those that missed it, is the R32 Corrado I made in Photoshop. The only MK4 look Corrado i've ever liked :) ;)
jedi-knight83 0 Posted February 25, 2004 wow....thats actually kinda nice.... the r32 version...not the first one!!
dan 0 Posted February 25, 2004 I don't think the paint matches at all in the silver one... I also don't like the way the bumper meets with the wing  A good effort but, could do better I think Jim has set the standard (& maybe the inspiration) for this mod
Blown 0 Posted February 25, 2004 I think the R32 looks better cos the Photochop makes the MK4 lights look smaller, about the same size as the original rectangular lights, and therefore more in keeping with the rest of the car.Seeing them on an actual car makes me think,Naah, just doesn't work. Just my tuppence worth....
