fuel gauge and speedo not working

Hi

I have a '90 16v. I parked up last friday and everything was working perfect, start her up today and the fuel gauge and speedo have stopped working. Rev counter still working fine as are all the warning lights. Have checked fuses but all are fine. Any other ideas please?? Xx
