Anton Sobriquet 0 Posted December 5, 2012 Pricey, I'd think. They're pretty heavy. I'll see about couriering if you tell me where you are but if you're not too far from Cambridge, I could meet you somewhere.
51ngh 11 Posted December 5, 2012 In west London.. How bad are they as you said they need a refurb
Anton Sobriquet 0 Posted December 5, 2012 They're not too bad. They're in need of a good old wire brushing, a lick of hammerite or whatever and new boots & seals. The repair kits aren't pricey from VAG or BiggRed. Or you could go the whole hog and send them to BiggRed and get them polymer coated. The coating is impervious to brake fluid and they can't rust then. They'll do new boots & seals included in the price at the same time. I did my fronts & rears and although a bit pricey it was well worth it for durability. Cambridge is a breeze from West London, straight up the A1M, off at Baldock, Royston by-pass & A505. An hour and a bit tops. Come and have a nice day out, mate.
