joebloggsVR69 0 Posted December 19, 2012 I'm thinking of refurbishing my leather seats and I'm looking at the stuff from furnitureclinic.co.uk. Wondering what other people on here have gone for, is it just the leather colourant kit? http://furnitureclinic.co.uk/Leather_Colourant_Kit.php Would some sort of filler for the cracks be needed? Also, is the standard corrado leather matt or semi matt? Cheers! :)
16VG60 1 Posted December 19, 2012 You need to contact Gliptone, who make a range of leather cleaning and renovation products. The other company that will be of help is Connolly Leather, famous for their hides used prestige cars.
KipVR 1 Posted December 20, 2012 I used the furniture clinic stuff and it was very good- even for a colour change (although a lot more work). Definitely get the Matt, it looks just right- like the original new leather. You can buy the filler from them too to cover the cracks. The cracks are mainly in the original (coloured) coating that you scrub off with chemicals though, so if they are not too bad I shouldn't bother. It's well worth the cash, really improves the look inside.
