Wesleyvr6 10 Posted March 20, 2014 How hard are these to fit? And what sort of power do they give?
Hofmiester 10 Posted March 21, 2014 How hard are these to fit? And what sort of power do they give? Power on this kit as stage 1 should be about 250bhp as stage 2, 270-280bhp Fitting is easy enough for a reasonably skilled home mechanic. I have full instructions and can talk you through it. Hardest bit is removing the sump and all the work can be done on a set of axle stands or ramps. Absolute doddle to fit if you have access to a ramp. Hofmiester 10 Posted March 23, 2014 Hi guys, videos are here: Cold start - Driving - First start from when it was fitted last year - Stu, will only sell the pulley separately if someone buys just the stage 1 kits, most enquirers have also said they want the stage 2 pulley and injectors if they buy. EJ Taylor 22 Posted March 27, 2014 who bought it Hof? Do tell!?!?!
Hofmiester 10 Posted March 27, 2014 It was bought by a chap form VR6OC, will be going on his MK3 as a stage 2 upgrade. Sounds like he is building a bit of a beast :) Borachris - I have no idea what the part number is or if it fits, I bought the kit all as one set for the VR6 and so it is all just in bags in a box. I know the thermostat plate is Mocal, the fitting kit in Mocal and the cooler itself is APS. It also has the pipes needed too. So everything you need is in there. Call it £110 quid and it's yours (Massive discount considering it is brand new, never used)
