Hi Guys/Girls I'm new to the forum and have a 1992 G60 with a rear spoiler problem it works fine while using the button (manual use) but does not come up automatically at 45mph? any help solving this would be gratefully received thanks Herc

Been out done 60 mph still no spoiler lift?

Could be a failed control unit (I have 2 spares for sale), maybe the micro switches in the mechanism or possible an issue with the clocks as mine turned out to be (hence the spare units).

I assume your Speedo works...

A Corrado is for life, not just for the MOT.

I figured it must given he said he'd done 60mph

I've always read a number of comments about there being some wire at the back of the stereo that either becomes unplugged or incorrectly plugged which can also cause this. Does it have the OEM head unit installed still, or is it an aftermarket unit?

As a cheap starter, it would certainly be worth replacing the spoiler control module which I think lives somewhere inside the dash down / under the steering wheel as these rarely fail so should be plentiful from anyone breaking a Corrado.

Here we go: http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?49300-Definitive-Guide-to-Corrado-Stereo-Wiring-Mods-pls-sticky!

"Don't connnect the blue/white one to anything or allow it to short to the body as it'll stop the spoiler working."

Reasonably priced spoiler module from another early Corrado:

Yeah it's the same feed the radio uses to do speed sensitive volume levels.
