good find on the fog lights, actually i need one too so quite opportune.  Are they glass lenses or plastic?

They are glass - when I get the car back from Jabba I will post the part numbers on lenses.

Have made a decision I will be daily driving sassy - life is to short looking at things rather then enjoying them . Car has been languarded but will not use on snow or heavy salt spread - good clean every couple weeks in salt catches under chassis  snd arches is the secret .

Also have renewed a few essential winter items . Lupo gti wipers now seem a no goer/ obsolete and extortion prices .  Went for the Audi TT  x 2 drivers rhd- was £130 all in delivered . Also replaced the washer tank dual pump and jet washers . New genuine Heater blower motor.

8” rim with ET25 will rub on the arch’s/lips of your newly painted wings. I’ve run 8” on et 30 they rubbed if I didn’t raise up on the coil overs  Need et 35 for 8” but I wouldn’t do that either. 7.5” rim et 37/38 no problems and don’t have to run a stretched tyre or worry about height so much.

205 tyre on an 8” rim will drive pants, way too much stretch , it’ll  bang and crash down the road driving my you nuts. It should be a 225 tyre on 8”.

Thanks mate I have dropped that wheel on the head. Now looking at another wheel 7 j  ET25 4 x 100 for the G60 - this is e30 fitment - 205 45 16 tyre- Im guessing this will be good mate no rubbing ?

Sorry mate thought you were on about the vr6. Not totally sure what you’d get away with on a G60 but your second wheel choice and tyre looks like you’d be ok

Good mate I know the e30 basket weave the true RZ as the Corrado RJ but commonly get called the RZ. Are a direct fit for the Mk2+ rado so fingers crossed I’ve fired the gun .

TB Sport Germany    16 7j 4x 100  ET25   German manufactured and TUV approved Certificate 16 RZ . Pop out the bmw decal for a BBS and im good to go fingers crossed.

Yes in German but look at the detail they give fitting over calipers and weighing them.

What was wrong with the G60 BBS that look like they are on it? They are a lovely wheel, had a set on my Mk2.  Or do you just want something similar in 16"? If it was me, for a daily driver I wouldn't bother putting fancy (more expensive if damaged) and larger (won't ride and handle as well over everyday terrain) rims on it.

Ive always preferred the RZ version rather then RJ and the curved spokes so finding a set in 16 and correct fitment is the icing on the cake. I saw a white Rado with bmw 15 rz a few years back and it looks the business and is 7 J rather then 6.5 - has a better spoke pattern and also the centre cap is alike to an RS rather then a RM which I prefer. Its really my own take on what a 16 Speedline is for a VR - great little upgrade and been a 4 cylinder late body will fill the arches nice  on B12 25 mm drop set up. Also will look fat on the MK2 - its a good solution if you dont want to fork out on  rs splits or have the hassle of them getting stolen or polishing as its the closet look - a fake rs dare something like that was not an option as look fake whereas these are quality alloys at a fair price.

I thought you had 14 BBS RZ on the Mk2  if you look at a rz and rj you will see there is quite a lot of difference- vag did a proper rz in a 14 but not a 15 or 16.
